¾" Thick Mounting Lip: Makes undermounting on solid surface simple and strong. It also makes undermounting a seamless integral undermount to laminate countertops very simple, since its mounting lip is the same thickness as the underboard on laminate.

Strength: Pemberton sinks (except bath models) also feature a unique 1/2" thick support in drain areas. This extra support gives much needed strength for today's heavy disposal units. This support also helps to dampen sound and vibration from disposals.
Stain resistant: Pemberton sinks are completely stain resistant. Even materials like puple drain primer, tea, and coffee will not affect the surface. The fact that your Pemberton sink will never stain means that it will look as good in 10 years time as the day it is installed.
Bacteria resistant: Pemberton sinks are completely non-porous. They cannot absorb any substance due to its incredibly high density, therefore bacteria and germs cannot impregnate the surface of a Pemberton sink.
Easy to clean: A rinse of water, soap, and sometimes a wipe with cheesecloth is all that is needed to clean your sink. However, cleaning with all types of scouring pads and abrasive cleaners is recommended.
Scratch resistant: Pembertons are designed so that the color goes all the way through the material, which disguises minor scratches that may occur through normal use. While Pemberton is difficult to scratch, some scratches may occur. These scratches are easily removable using a Scotch-Brite� pad, and if necessary, fine grit sandpaper.
Impact resistant: A Pemberton are among some of the strongest sinks on the market. Since they are made from 100% acrylic, they have a certain amount of flexibility, and can absorb the impact from dropped pans or dishes.
Heat resistant: Pemberton sinks can withstand heat temperatures of 365�F. This means a boiling pot can be drained without causing damage. Care should be taken when placing dishes or pots that have been in the oven or on the stove cooking at high temperatures. It is a good practice to always allow hot pots and pans to cool before placing them in your sink or on your countertop.
